About Us
Who?
Fuelled by wonder, our founding team are passionate educators, storytellers, and designers. We love to make, test, walkin the rain, gaze at the stars, scribble. The Wonder Why Society is built on the belief that children learn best through exploration, being creative and take part in real-world experiences. Our projects are designed to inspire, spark curiosity, build critical thinking skills, and encourage children to engage meaningfully with both the digital world and the one outside their door.
What?
The Wonder Why Society is a club for children everywhere, encouraging them to explore big topics like science, nature and art through combined digital and real world activities. Your child will join the founding members on their brilliant adventures, encouraging them to discover and learn about the world around them as they play and explore. They will crack codes, hunt for clues, solve puzzles, experiment and explore hands-on activities to unravel mysteries and earn badges for each adventure!
Why?
We believe the key to meaningful learning lies in real-world exploration and play. Our projects foster a healthy relationship with technology by using it as a gateway to outdoor adventures, creative challenges, and real-world problem-solving. By addressing global topics like climate change and environmental awareness, we help children build critical thinking skills while making a positive impact, everywhere.
How?
Children join The Wonder Why Society and become a member, promising to be curious and creative and use their imaginations. They have a voice, and what they think matters. Don’t worry, everything is anonymous. Our stories take children on fantastical journeys, exploring concepts and testing them out. They will think critically, take challenges, experiment, and solve problems. Our tasks encourage outdoor exploration and physical play as well as offering digital challenges - all leading to exciting awards and badges Our approach combines different ways of learning and encourages them to take ownership of their learning journey by learning about the things they love the most. Today’s Wonder Why Society members are the next generation of innovators and problem solvers.
