Returns Policy
 

This policy does not affect your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 or the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013.
 

1. Your Right to Change Your Mind (Distance Selling)

For most items, you have a legal right to change your mind within 14 days of receiving the goods.

  • Books: You may return books for any reason within 14 days for a full refund.

  • Magazines & Periodicals: In accordance with Regulation 28(1)(bbb) of the Consumer Contracts Regulations, the right to cancel does not apply to the supply of a periodical, magazine, or newspaper. These items are non-returnable unless faulty.

  • Condition: Items must be returned in a "resalable" condition. If the value of the goods is diminished by any amount as a result of unnecessary handling by you (e.g., a broken book spine or stains), we may make a deduction from your refund.
     

2. Statutory Rights: Faulty or Misdescribed Goods

Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, any goods you purchase must be:

  • As described: Match any description or sample shown.

  • Satisfactory quality: Not arrive damaged, with printing errors, or missing pages.

  • Fit for purpose: Capable of being read and used as intended.
     

If your order fails any of these criteria, you are entitled to the following:

  • Up to 30 days: A full refund, or a repair/replacement if you prefer.

  • 30 days to 6 months: We are entitled to an opportunity to replace or repair the item. If we cannot do so, you may be entitled to a full or partial refund.
     

3. Return Shipping & Costs

  • Change of Mind: You are responsible for the cost of return postage. We recommend a tracked service, as the "burden of proof" for the return rests with the sender.

  • Faulty/Incorrect Items: We will bear the cost of return postage. We will either provide a pre-paid label or refund your reasonable postage costs upon receipt of the item.
     

4. Refund Process

  • Timeline: We will process your refund within 14 days of receiving the goods back (or 14 days from receiving evidence that you have sent them).

  • Scope: A "Change of Mind" refund includes the cost of the goods plus the standard outbound delivery charge. If you chose a premium delivery service (e.g., Special Delivery), we will only refund the cost of our cheapest standard delivery method.
     

5. How to Notify Us

To exercise your right to return, you must inform us of your decision by a clear statement.
